What They're Saying
I would like to express my appreciation to you for the fine knives you are making. I purchased a Light Hunter Combo last year, and to date have cleaned over 2300 ducks and geese with it, without sharpening the Cub Bear even once. This is a testament I share with all my friends when they ask me what knife they suggest. I purchased the Muskrat a few weeks back t try it on tout and have never in 30 years of fishing been so impressed by a knife. I have the fillet knives you produce as well, however for trout the Muskrat makes fast order of time.

"I have been hunting for 20 years. I bought one of your knives this year and love it. This is the best knife I own. I am on your web site today to start replacing each of my hunting knives w/Knives of Alaska. What a Great Knife!!"

– Jim Bolelli
Dear Charles Allen, I thought I would take a minute to brag on your knives. Last Spring I had a boat accident. I lost everything in the boat including my KOA Muskrat/Cub Combo. The water was high, so I waited 4 months for the water to go down. We took a metal detector and found them. 4 months under water, no damage, just a couple of rust spots on the steel, rubbed right out though. Leather case held up great. I brag on your knives to everybody and plan to one or two a year! Thank you for your knives. They?re great.

My daughter recently asked me for a knife suggestions for her husband and I couldn't wait to tell her how happy I am with your knives. I have gutted, skinned and butchered an entire white tail deer with a cub bear not having to sharpen it at all during the process. I would not believe that had I not done it myself. You make a great product!

During the 2003 deer season here in North Dakota, I used the Bush Camp Knife to field dress 9 deer which included slicing through 9 rib cages and 9 pelvic bones in addition to normal inviceration and hide work of field dressing. The blade performed flawlessly, and after simple washings with mild soap and hot water was still able to shave the hair on my arm every single time. Neither stone nor steel were needed to restore the edge.
