This knife is as advertised - great for field dressing and butchering. Case is a nice bonus. Hunter orange is great for keeping track / finding in a bag or on the ground. Not limited to deer; works well on other large game, too. Brother-in-law saw my first one and had knife envy, so I gave it to him and bought myself a replacement.
